Hello. My name is Nhung Nguyen. I am currently working as a Lecturer in Management and a Director of the Master of Public Management Program at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Vietnam. I received my PhD degree in Public Administration and Public Affairs from Virginia Tech (USA) in 2021. My research interests include innovation, diversity and inclusion, leadership, and human resource management in both the public and private sectors. My articles have appeared in Review of Public Personnel Administration, Administration & Society, Public Performance and Management Review and Public Personnel Management.
My teaching has focused on classes pertaining to human resource management, organizational behavior, digital and innovative leadership. I have taught in both Vietnam and international environments, working with undergraduates and graduates both online and in-person. I also have worked closely with Vietnam’s local governments as a consultant and trainer in multiple projects to build management and leadership skills and organizational strategies for senior public officials.
